Clothing labels are broken into two different primary categories. One is printed clothing labels, and the other is woven labels for clothes. There are positives and negatives for both of them.
While printed labels for clothing can have tiny details and can be cheaper to manufacture, they may fade away over time because of washing and contact with skin oils. Printed labels can be inexpensive but many complain about how quickly the label is able to fade.
The second option, woven labels for clothes has positives and negatives as well. Woven labels for clothes are made as one big loom, which makes them durable and professional. However, they are a bit more expensive.
Why do more companies prefer to use woven labels for clothes versus printed labels? Woven label companies are chosen for their attention to details. Machine embroidery helps to add logos and monograms to business shirts or jackets along with gifts and team apparel. The military uses patch designs that are approved and certified by the Institute of Heraldry. Now a days, woven labels for clothes are patches that are designed to be able to be both ironed on or sewn on.
