There have been a load of factory issues with golf carts. A common issue is when the key is in the ignition, and the cart will just not move even when the accelerator is pressed. Generally, people only hear a clicking sound instead. You may still hear the reverse sound, but still no movement. In this case, the issue is with some of the ground wiring that gets very brittle and thin, making it unable to connect with the starter. To fix this, take the bolt off and shave down the wire so that it is exposed. Then splice it to a new wire and connecter. With this fix, your golf cart should be running perfectly.
